5th Avenue Floral Keychain - Stampin Girls Convention - May 30, 2009

Stampin Girls Convention - May 30, 2009

Well it is hard to believe that another year has passed. Each year I attend a local convention that is held here in Kanata and each year it gets better and better. One of my favorite parts of the convention is the WOW Swap.

For this swap you have to make a 3D object using Stampin' Up product no cards or scapbooking allowed. So you really have to get creative, and like it's called you try and WOW the socks by coming up with something that no one has done before.

Last year I made a necklace which i will post in the next couple of days (some of my stuff it is still packed in the many trunks I packed when we put the new floor down Reno). This year I did a key chain using ShrinkyDinks , Stampin' Ups Top Note BigZ Die and of course my favorite stamp set 5TH Avenue Floral. Along with Chocolate Chip Card stock; Whisper White Card stock; Tempting Turquoise; Chocolate Chip Classic Ink. Here is what I created.

NEW Check out my Etsy store studiono8

Here is the packaging that I created it to go with the keychain.

Here is a sample of how you can use it other than a keychain

5th Avenue Floral Wedding Design

5Th Avenue Floral Wedding

Just like the wedding invitation that I designed for the Wedding Invitation Swap see here I have finally completed the whole wedding package. From Table Number Card, Place Card, Favour Box, Wedding Program, Save-the-Date Card, Thank You Card and even a Menu for the reception.

Over the next few weeks I will be design more Favour Boxes so that you have many options to choose from for your wedding.

5Th Avenue Floral Wedding - Table Number Cards

5Th Avenue Floral Wedding - Table Place Card

This Place Card is so easy to use depending on how many tables you would punch a hole on the number that the guest would be sitting at. So simple!

5Th Avenue Floral Wedding - Favour Matchbox with Ribbon

I am so love'n this cute little matchbox, use this as a favour box for your thank you gift of candy or chocolate.

5Th Avenue Floral Wedding - Wedding Program with Ribbon

Again it is all about the little things. This wedding program is fantastic, simple yet elegant and it coordinates very well with everything. What a wonderful souvenir from your special day.

5Th Avenue Floral Wedding - Save-the-Date Card

In the past, many people did not think about sending save the date invitations, and when they did send the wedding invitation they realized many of their guests could not come because of prior engagements. With the save the date cards you are announcing your wedding, so everyone that is near and dear will hold the wedding date and not make other plans.

The save the date cards should be sent to your family and guests anywhere from one year to 6 months before your wedding. The more time you give them, the better. This will allow them to mark their calendars in advance and patiently wait for their wedding invitation to arrive.

Share the excitement of your upcoming nuptials with this stylish 5Th Avenue Floral Wedding Save-the-Date Card

5Th Avenue Floral Wedding - Reception Menu

For me it is all about the special touches and the Reception Menu is a perfect example of that. Tucked into the table napkin your guest will see what wonderful delights await them. Again it is all about the details.

Love Found the Second Time Around

5th Avenue Floral Card Gives Best Wish to the Happy Couple

My good friend Mark got married tonight, what a beautiful ceremony and such a happy occasion. Karen was stunning, in a strapless gown that shimmered in the candle light and simply took your breath away. The Wedding took place at the
Chateau Laurier in downtown Ottawa. Cocktails were from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by the wedding ceremony and then a late buffet and dance. Stations were set-up around the room which encouraged people to mingle from one end of the room to the other. The room itself was elegantly decorated (hard not to do with all that cream and gold in the architecture) with fresh cream long stem roses. The tables were also arrange to encouraging mingling sort of like a big cocktail party but so much more. And a live band played throughout the night, why there were even live singers singing jazz, blues and even a little rock and roll. A perfect touch to such an elegant evening.

So in honour of Mark and Karen I made a simple yet modern card for such a wonderful couple, congratulations!

Wedding Invitation - 5th Avenue Floral

Chocolate Wedding on 5th

I am so love'n the new 5th Avenue Floral stamp set from Stampin' Up NEW 2009 Spring and Summer Idea Book and Catalogue. There is something so 50's about it and when I combine it with Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White I just can't help but say yummmmmmmmmmmm!

With Wedding season just around the corner I couldn't help but make this invite. I can't wait till i get the matching Manhattan Flower Impressions Die which is designed to coordinate with the 5th Avenue Floral set. Tomorrow I hope to design a wedding program, name card and gift box.

Let me know what you think!
