Papertrey Ink - Got to Love a Free Stamp Set

Everyday Classics Meets Razzleberry Lemonade

OK I am so excited I got a FREE stamp set from Papertrey Ink, as part of their anniversary special I qualified for a FREE stamp set. It's called Everyday Classics and it features flowers and stars along with cup cake and tea/coffee cup, and birds two different sizes. Oh so cute!

Using Stampin Up's new InColours and DSP Razzleberry Lemonade I created this cute little birthday card for my sister-in-law, hope she likes it.

Cake Good Enough To Eat

Decorations Make Them Homemade...

I like to look for ideas and ways of decorating for a shower or even for a wedding that are not to costly but give the WOW factor. I also like to personalize things, but not spend a lot of money.

When I got married, one of the things that I did was take very expensive white wrapping paper (pricey paper better quality) and wrapped individually three box each smaller than the other. Once they were wrapped I put one on top of the other (so it looks like a cake) and using quality cream coloured ribbon (shearer the better) held them together on all four sides. From there again using quality silk flowers I removed everything except a few green stems and hot glued them to the boxes ensuring the best flower(s) for the top. Remember you don't need a lot of flowers just play with the positioning will be just fine.

So with that in mine I did an updated version using Stampin' Up DSP Urban Garden and some hat boxes that I found at Pritchard Packaging. For those of you who live in Ottawa and don't know about this place it is so fantastic. You can not only find so many ideas here but the prices are hard to beat.

I am going to dig through my boxes of negatives yes negatives and see if I can find some pics of what I did for my wedding so you can see. But in the meantime here is what I ended up with.

Mojo Monday Week 93 - Razzle Dazzle Card

Razzleberry Lemonade - Razzle Dazzle

It's been awhile since I participated in a Mojo Monday but after seeing Mary's beautiful card using the new Incolours from Stampin' Up I thought hey why not give it a try.

I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch to try out some new In-Color card stock and ink. I also used the new DSP Razzleberry Lemonade and Razzle Dazzle stamp set for this Scandinavian looking design.

Everything is from Stampin' Up! except for the Nestabilities and the ribbon.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!!

This little paradise offers an intimate experience and commanding view of the twin peaks. Ladera has opened its doors to Oprah, Bill Gates and many other celebrities like Harrison Ford and Denzel Washington. Colour Inspiration Challenge #55

So Much for a New Years Resolution

So it has been a very long time since my last Colour Inspiration Challenge, but better late than never.

I used once again a fabulous stamp set from one of my favorite blogs Poppy Paperie by Lisa Johnson. This stamp set is called Remember from Papertrey Ink.

So here is my creation:

Life - Papertrey Ink and Lisa Johnson from Poppy Paperie

Better Late Than Never

One of my favorite blogs to get great design ideas and inspiration from is Poppy Paperie by Lisa Johnson. Lisa who designs for Marvy Uchida, Hampton Art Stamps, and my favorite Papertrey Ink came up with this fabulous design using her own stamp set Life for a travel tumbler.

Yes, it is true I do buy stamps from other companies than just Stampin' Up!

I am giving these gifts to my Mother and sister-in-law today for Mother's Day, yes I am late, but I couldn't design this without the stamp set which had been on back order. Anyway this is a super easy project that puts the WOW in wonderful.

I bought my tumblers at Starbucks, which they always seem to have in stock so why not try one yourself.

Have a great day!

It's the Special Touches

Awhile ago I was approached by Nicole from Scott Lee Roberts Photography to create cards as a special thank you to their clients. Each boxed set is created specifically for the couple using Nicole and Scott's favorite shots and the theme colours from the couples wedding. What a fabulous idea and perfect example of how this extraordinary couple put the special touch to what they do. I was honored that they choose me to create these one of a kind gifts for their clients.
