FREEBIE TIME!
So many things have been happening lately, I
have started back with Stampin’ Up; I have a once a month card workshop (thank you so much to Marlayne Hardy) and I
have started a new job at Starbucks. I totally believe that one should do
things they love and well I love coffee, I love crafting of all kinds. My other
passion of course is graphic design. And if you put all three of those together
well I am one happy person!
This month I am
creating tags, paper designs and illustrations that can be used for gift giving
or can be used on projects such as Project Life, card making and/or scrap
booking. This is something that I have always wanted to do. With my new job and
the flexibility of working shifts it gives me the opportunity I need to focus on
designing my own line of papers, cards and stamps. Yes I will be creating some
stamps that can be used with all of these items.
Christmas is one of
my favorite times of the year. Over the last five years it has been hard and
if I was truly honest it probably been longer than that. Depression is a funny
thing it sneaks up on you, and before you know it you have changed and the
things that you used to do you no longer do. I used to create so many things, I
would sew I would decorate the house and the table at Christmas. I would cook
and bake I would go to parties, share in the festivities. Little by little I am
trying to find that person again, where they have gone I am not sure but I have
been in a good place lately and I am hoping this year I will feel like
celebrating.
When it comes to designing things that like I am not a traditionalist. I don't
like to use the typical Christmas colors. Instead I love to use more modern
colors like red and blue or gray and red, or all three. The following are some
very cute cards that you can use as tags by punching a hole in the corner or
you can use for Project Life even.
Thanks for stopping buy and please share with your friends and family.
cheers,
J
