FREE DOWNLOAD 3" X 4" CARDS

FREEBIE TIME!

So many things have been happening lately, I have started back with Stampin’ Up; I have a once a month card workshop (thank you so much to Marlayne Hardy) and I have started a new job at Starbucks. I totally believe that one should do things they love and well I love coffee, I love crafting of all kinds. My other passion of course is graphic design. And if you put all three of those together well I am one happy person!

This month I am creating tags, paper designs and illustrations that can be used for gift giving or can be used on projects such as Project Life, card making and/or scrap booking. This is something that I have always wanted to do. With my new job and the flexibility of working shifts it gives me the opportunity I need to focus on designing my own line of papers, cards and stamps. Yes I will be creating some stamps that can be used with all of these items.

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. Over the last five years it has been hard and if I was truly honest it probably been longer than that. Depression is a funny thing it sneaks up on you, and before you know it you have changed and the things that you used to do you no longer do. I used to create so many things, I would sew I would decorate the house and the table at Christmas. I would cook and bake I would go to parties, share in the festivities. Little by little I am trying to find that person again, where they have gone I am not sure but I have been in a good place lately and I am hoping this year I will feel like celebrating.

When it comes to designing things that like I am not a traditionalist. I don't like to use the typical Christmas colors. Instead I love to use more modern colors like red and blue or gray and red, or all three. The following are some very cute cards that you can use as tags by punching a hole in the corner or you can use for Project Life even.

CARD CREATING - My Digital Studio (MDS) from Stampin' Up!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Some days all I want to do is create something and only embellish, not think to much just let it flow. Today's post is the result of one of those such days, just a card something not to complicated.

I LOVE using Fabulous Florets they are simple yet beautiful add some pearls and we are done, simple.

Have you used MDS yet? It is my go to for when I want to be creative without pulling out all my tools. And it keeps my studio somewhat tidy.

When shooting thes pictures I choose natural light and got these wonderful orbs flooding light in beautiful circles all around, making the picture more dream like.

It takes LOVE

This past May my Dad passed away from brain cancer. He was such a wonderful man who would do anything for anyone. Who loved his family, his friends and his church.
During his final weeks Dad was admitted into the hospital, though he wanted to pass at home, the care he required was more than we could handle.
His time there was long with many struggles but he was so loved and cared for by both the Dr and the nurses that when we couldn't be there we knew that he was loved.
As a thank you to the nurses I created this t-shirt letting them know that we appreciated everything that they could do for our Dad and that it was very appreciated.
I am also offering this for sale $36.00 including taxes plus shipping, with portion going to a scholarship in my Dad's name to the Nursing program at Algonquin College.
Order your t-shirt today and let our nurses know they matter!

The Paper Purse Or Is It

So Real You Just Might Want to Throw a Compact In It

I like when I find a pattern of something make it then fall in love with it all over again. The project I did today has to be one of my favorites and so easy to make. All you need is one 12 x 12 sheet of paper, some contrasting paper, ribbon and some bling and you have a gift bag that anyone would keep.

This would be great as a birthday gift for a young girl or even for a bridal gift, I mean tell me you couldn't add a little somethin somethin in this. For me I will be creating some cards and decorating some votive holders to go inside these pics will follow tomorrow more than likely.
