Magnificent ...the perfect word for you

The perfect word for you!

So I am doing these random acts of kindness (RAK), working on designs enjoying and then mailing out to some unfortunate or maybe fortunate person depending on if you like my work LOL. Would you like to be one of these people? The following is a card "box" a card that folds down to a box, and you can add things inside as long as you don't use to many embellishments (as I discovered to late) tags are best so that you can use them on gifts or leave as notes to someone.

The following is using Teresa Collins Everyday Moments which I am absolutely in love with.

If you would like to receive RAK leave me a message with address and your name might be chosen but I can't tell you if you won! But you just might get something in the mail!

Thank you

Peaking inside you see the tags

When you remove the tags a secret message!

PPA150 - Challenge Using Affection Collection!

PPA150 - Challenge Using Affection Collection!

Happy New Year and welcome to my first Pals Paper Arts Challenge of 2013!
Last year was such a challenging year for me, with the loss of my father in May and then my father-in-law in December and my sweet Aunt Dolly on Christmas Eve. All I can say is that 2013 is going to be a better year than 2012. I plan to post a lot more, so look forward to more posts, Wedding Workshops and designs, 3D crafts and challenges such as this one from Pals Paper Arts Challenge of 2013. I am also taking part in Ali Edwards workshop One Little Word which I will explain in my next post. So stayed tune for a lot more creative stuff that will hopefully inspire you!
Let's get started with the first color challenge of 2013 from PPA:  an inspiring combination of Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Basic Gray using the stamp set "Affection Collection" from Stampin' Up.

Celebrate!

As the weather starts to change and leaves start to fall off the trees, I feel its to soon to welcome fall into my world. So to keep me balanced and genitally roll into fall slowly I designed a card with more of a spring/summer feel to it.

So for today's card I used bright colours of red, yellow and purple with ribbons and embossing and those wonderful Silver Flourish Designer Frames. And here is today's card!

Just a Quick Post Today

Happy Friday,

Sorry I haven't posted much this week, work has been very busy and I haven't had much "creative home time". This weekend though I am going to a 12 hour crop in the county of Beckwith. This will be the second 12 hour crop I have attended but funny unlike most I never make it to 12 hours. LOL!

Anyway this weekend I am working on a few projects that I plan on getting into the "can" basically finished so I can post next week. Look for some great 3D WOW projects that I hope you will simple love, cards and possibly a Simply Adorned designs to get you in the gift giving mood.

For those of you who know me moving to this house has been the best things next to my wonderful husband, but with this move came our wonderful neighbours Lee-Anne and Gary. Such kindred spirits, I truly feel we were meant to meet. Lee-Anne I like to say is my addictive twin, there is so much we both like that sometimes it is very scary how similar we are.

Today's post is an Anniversary card I did for them to help celebrated their 20th Anniversary, yes twenty, hard to believe. The love that they share is something very rare and this card says it all for me about them.

Happy Anniversary Lee-Anne and Gary you are such a wonderful couple!

Such a Pretty You!

Better Than a Black Dress - Make It Red

I love stamps that are unique and different and if it is a stamp that is a dress well even better. I found this stamp a couple of weeks ago, can't remember where but I feel in love with it.

The other day while cleaning the studio for my Open House I came across it still unopened and well calling to be made into a card. As you can guess I got distracted and created this ever so cute card, added a few glass beads (it also called for a funky hanger) and voila this very simple card for Such a Pretty You!

Have a fantastic Monday!

Earth Love and the Boyfriend - Green Friends Forever Card

Funked out Flowers Earthy Inspired Card

This is just a short post, trying to get things done for my Open House coming up so I am super busy. I am so love'n Carleton Place. Not only do we pretty well have everything we need locally we even have this fantastic scrap booking store called Scraptease see here. During one of my visits I found this fantastic paper that I feel in love with called Earth Love and the Boyfriend by Cosmo Cricket. I so love the colours they are so soft and muted and the style of this paper reminds me of when I was a kid. It's so cute and very funky I just had to make a card or two.

Anyway enjoy and get inspired! Have great Sunday!
