Today's project I have been working on uses all new products from the Stampin Up Occasions Mini Catalogue. For this project I designed a mini scrap book tin using Nature Walk Clear Stamp Set (121997) and Designer Series Paper Botanical Gazette (121783).

With Mothers Day right around the corner I thought what a better idea than a mini scrapbook in a tin for a wonderful mother.

So I am doing these random acts of kindness (RAK), working on designs enjoying and then mailing out to some unfortunate or maybe fortunate person depending on if you like my work LOL. Would you like to be one of these people? The following is a card "box" a card that folds down to a box, and you can add things inside as long as you don't use to many embellishments (as I discovered to late) tags are best so that you can use them on gifts or leave as notes to someone.

Every once and awhile I just like to design something nice and simple and clean. Simple font that works well with other styles add a little bling and your done. This design will work well with any colour but I love the navy and grey in fact I think grey is going to be my new black for ever and ever!

This design was created in My Digital Studio (MDS), add an embellishment and you have a clean elegant wedding suite. Simple as that!

2011 Sneak Peak No. 3 - Tweet Love

Today's sneak peak is inspired by the word "Fresh".

Have you ever notice how wonderful navy pairs with green? Whether you use cream or white as an accent it always looks fresh and clean.

Many brides today are going green by decorate or accenting tables with green apples, pears and even grasses. Even using fresh limes as fillers in vases, instead of glass beads giving that simple punch of colour.

For flowers one of my favorites to decorate with whether a wedding or just at home during Christmas are hydrangea's, and lots of them. Whether you stick with a simple pallet of white and cream or accent with even some green there is something about a vase filled with three or four stems of these large flowers that makes a centerpiece standout.

This colour pallet is Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizazz. Clean crisp and of course "Fresh".

Mother's Day Canvas Art - Sale-A-Bration Smackdown

Part of being a guest designer at last Saturday's Sale-A-Bration Smackdown was to do a demonstration. I chose to create this absolutely adorable 6" x 6" canvas art. I know you won't believe me but this is a super easy project that allows you to open up creatively and have a good time.
